共生： 与何共，如何生？



For the second issue of Apus, we invite creators to explore the theme of "Symbiosis: With Whom, and How Do We Live?”.

“共生”，字面意义可以拆解为“共同生活”；英语symbiosis来自于希腊语，词根义same mode of life。生物学角度，共生指两个生物体之间互相依赖或是彼此吞噬的交互作用。但“共生”的概念也触及我们生活的各个方面，可以被应用到人与人之间的情感联结，人与自然的征服与被征服、与科技的纠缠、与病痛的抗争、与相异文化的碰撞。没有人可以在真空中呼吸，我们度过的每一天都在与环境和其他生命共同生活。在这个被纷争与冲突充斥的当下，我们更需要思考“共生”的意义与可能。

雨燕第二期以“共生”为主题，邀请各位作者展开创作。方向包括但不限于：
  1. 人与自然的共生；
  2. 人与科技的共生；
  3. 人与病痛的共生；
  4. 离散群体与在地文化的共生；
  5. 城市与乡村的共生；
  6. 废弃物的重生；
  7. 人与人之间的共生；
  8. 共生主题的艺术/影视/文学评论；


Submission Guidelines


体裁：小说诗歌；采访、非虚构类；视觉艺术
作品字数：稿件长度建议不超过15000字，诗歌不超过200行。
稿酬最低标准：文章类10美金/千字，诗歌1美金/行，视觉作品视形式和数量决定

Genres: Fiction, poetry, interviews, nonfiction, and visual art.
Word Count: Prose submissions are recommended to be no longer than 15,000 words. Poetry should not exceed 200 lines.
Pay:
- Prose: $10 USD per 1,000 words
- Poetry: $1 USD per line
- Visual art: Payment will be determined based on the format and quantity of the submitted work.

  • Apus reserves the right to make editorial revisions to submitted works.
  • Upon acceptance, Apus reserves first serial, reprint and electronic rights.
